RETURN POLICY

Our aim is to ensure that you are always happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product(s) to us and we will either repair/replace it, or refund you. The product(s) are your responsibility until they arrive back with us. All return costs are for the customers account.

1.  Should a product(s) not meet with your satisfaction for whatever reason you may return the product(s) to Boats SA within seven days of receipt. A full assessment of the product(s) will be done to determent if a refund or exchange applies. The product(s) must be returned with all packaging, documentation and be undamaged in any way. A written reason for the refund/exchanged must be completed in the below form.

2.  If an order is cancelled/returned a 15% handling fee will be levied to cover processing/handling fees.

3.  If an unwanted product is returned and exchange for a different product, the customer will be charged or refunded any price difference plus return shipping.

4.  Boats SA cannot be held liable for any product that does not meet the clients expectations for any reason whatsoever – however we will encourage and help direct you to the correct contact people at the relevant brands so that they are able to assist you with the correct replacement product / procedure from their side.

5.  At Boats SA we cannot accept returns on discounted or sale items unless the product is defective.

6. All prices are provided E&OE, and are subject to change without prior notice. Courier cost of returns is for the customers account & subject to a 15% handling fee. No returns on batteries & electrical parts.

7. The provision of goods and services by Boats SA is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Boats SA will refund the client within 30 days.

8. The following will not entitle you to a return or exchange:

– faults resulting from normal wear and tear;
– damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;
– damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion;
– damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;
– damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product;
– where the specifications of a product, as described on our website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you;
