Description

The flukes pivot along a durable tapered shank, causing the flukes to dig deeper into the sand as the boat pulls on the hook. Its stock runs at a horizontal length to provide stability to keep the anchor lying flat on the seabed.

The flukes pivot along the shank at a maximum of 32 degrees, which is the optimal fluke and shank angle for sandy conditions. These hooks rely on weight to keep the boat secured, though modern anchors can hold between 10 and 200 times their weight. Hot dipped galvanized.
