RETURN POLICY

INTRODUCTION

Our aim is to ensure that you are always happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the goods to us, and we will either repair/replace or refund you. The goods are your responsibility until they arrive back with us. All return costs are for the customer’s account.

SEVEN DAY RETURNS POLICY

Boats SA will accommodate you within 7 (seven) days from delivery if you want to return the goods, provided that you meet the requirements of this policy.

1. Rules applying to the 7 (seven) day Returns Policy:

  • You can only return the goods within the 7 (seven) day returns period if you did not use the goods at all.
  • The goods must be in its original unopened packaging.

2. You will not be able to return the following goods during the 7 (seven) day returns period:

  • Special order goods (these are goods that we changed, amended or procured for you specifically to meet your specific needs – in other words customized goods and other goods that Boats SA does not usually stock).
  • Goods that we no longer stock.
  • Faults resulting from normal wear and tear.
  • Damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product.
  • Damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion.
  • Damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the goods.
  • Damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the goods.
  • Where the specifications of a product, as described on our website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.

3. A full assessment of the product(s) will be done to determent if a refund or exchange applies. The product(s) must be returned with all packaging, documentation and be undamaged in any way. A written reason for the refund/exchanged must be completed in the below form.

4. If an order is cancelled/returned a 15% handling fee will be levied to cover processing/handling fees.

5. If an unwanted product is returned and exchange for a different product, the customer will be charged any price difference.

6. At Boats SA we cannot accept returns on discounted or sale items unless the product is defective.

7. All prices are provided E&OE, and are subject to change without prior notice. Courier cost of returns is for the customers account & subject to a 15% handling fee. No returns on batteries & electrical parts.

8. The provision of goods and services by Boats SA is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Boats SA will refund the client within 30 days in the form of a store credit.

9. Each return will be evaluated by its merits, and at management’s discretion.
